Using Budgett With No Signal
No data in the grocery basement? No problem. Budgett keeps working without internet, and catches up when you're back online.
What Happens Offline
- Budgett keeps a copy of your data on your phone. With no signal, it opens from that copy.
- You'll see a note: "Offline. Your changes are saved on this phone and will sync when you're back online."
- Log expenses and tick bills like normal. Nothing is lost.
- When your signal comes back, your changes go to your account by themselves.
Using Two Devices
- Budgett always keeps the newest copy of your data, so nothing gets overwritten.
- If another phone or Budgett Web changed your data while you were offline, Budgett loads that newer copy and tells you if your last change needs to be done again.
- Tip: avoid changing the same thing on two devices at the same time.
Logging in for the first time on a phone, and Budgett Web, both need internet. Offline mode works after you've logged in at least once on that phone.
Next time you're in a no-signal spot, log your expense anyway. Then check that it's still there when you're back online.
