Terms of Service
Last updated October 15, 2026
1. Who we are
Budgett is a personal finance app run by Budgett Software Development Service, a business registered in the Philippines and based in General Santos City. "Budgett", "we" and "us" mean us. "You" means anyone who uses the Budgett app or website.
By creating an account or using Budgett, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Budgett.
2. Who can use Budgett
- You must be 18 or older.
- Give true information when you sign up, and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- If you share your login with a partner or family member, they act on your account, so only share with people you trust.
3. What Budgett is, and what it isn't
- Budgett is a tool to help you budget, track and plan. The numbers come from what you enter.
- Budgett does not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Tips, scores, tax savings suggestions, emergency fund targets and reports are general guides, not professional advice. For big decisions, talk to a qualified professional.
- Budgett does not hold, move or invest your money, and it doesn't connect to your bank or e-wallet.
- We work hard to keep calculations correct, but please double-check important numbers yourself.
4. Your data
- Your data is yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Budgett for you, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
- We never sell your data and we don't show ads.
- You can delete your account anytime in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or through our Delete my account page.
5. Plans and payments
- Basic is free. Plus and Pro are paid subscriptions, monthly or yearly. Current prices are shown in the app and on our website.
- Payments are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not by us. We never see your card or bank details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime in your Google Play or App Store subscriptions. You keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Refunds follow Google Play's or Apple's refund rules, since they process the payment. If something went wrong on our side, contact us and we'll do our best to make it right.
- Price changes: if we change prices, we'll tell you in advance, and Google or Apple will ask for your OK where their rules require it. A price change never applies to a period you already paid for.
- If a paid plan ends, your account goes back to Basic. Your data stays and nothing is deleted. Anything above the Basic limits becomes read-only (you can see it, but not add more) until you upgrade again.
6. Free plans, promos and tester rewards
Sometimes we give free Plus or Pro time, for example to closed testers. Each grant has an end date, which we'll tell you. When it ends, your account goes back to Basic unless you subscribe. Free grants have no cash value.
7. XP, ranks and leaderboards
XP, ranks, badges and leaderboard positions are for fun and motivation. They have no money value and can't be exchanged, sold or transferred. We may adjust XP rules, or remove XP earned by cheating or bugs.
8. Fair use
Please don't:
- break the law using Budgett, or use it for someone else's money without their permission
- try to hack, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the app
- create fake accounts or cheat the XP system
- use a display name that is offensive, impersonates someone, or shares private information
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first.
9. Our content
The Budgett name, logo, design, articles and app are owned by us. You can use them only to use Budgett, not to copy or resell them.
10. Changes to Budgett and these Terms
- We keep improving Budgett, so features may change, be added or be removed.
- If we change these Terms in a way that affects you, we'll tell you in the app at least 7 days before the change takes effect. If you keep using Budgett after that, you accept the new Terms.
11. Limits of our responsibility
- We provide Budgett "as is". We try to keep it working and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
- To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for decisions you make based on what the app shows, or for losses that weren't caused by our own fault.
- If we are responsible, our total liability is limited to what you paid Budgett in the 12 months before the problem.
- Nothing in these Terms takes away your rights under Philippine consumer law.
12. Ending your account
You can stop using Budgett and delete your account anytime. We may close accounts that seriously break these Terms. If we ever shut down Budgett, we'll give you notice and a way to get your data out.
13. Law
These Terms follow the laws of the Philippines. Any dispute goes to the courts of General Santos City, unless the law says otherwise.
