Every Way to Earn XP

Every point in Budgett comes from a real money habit. Here's the full list, with the limits that keep the race fair.

Zero-Based Budgeting → up to 20 XP
Budget Variance → 20 XP
Categories on track → 15 XP
Savings Rate → up to 15 XP
Set your budget by the 7th → 10 XP
Essentials paid → up to 10 XP
Plan Next Month (Plus and Pro) → up to 10 XP
Counted after each month ends. The full rules are in How Budgeting Earns XP.

Log an expense (₱20 or more) → +3 XP. 3 a day, up to 200 XP a month.
Grace period: missed a day? Make it up later the same month. Up to 5 missed days (15 extra expense logs) each month. Days missed beyond that are lost. Resets on the 1st.
Log income (₱500 or more) → +10 XP. Up to 6 a month.
Pay a bill (₱99 or more) → +5 XP on time, +2 XP late. Up to 20 bills a month. Each bill earns XP only once a month.
Pay a loan bill on time → bonus +5 XP (3 to 5 month loan), +10 XP (6 to 11 months), or +15 XP (12 months or longer). Up to 3 bonuses a month (see Debts below).
Add to a savings account (₱500 or more) → +10 XP, once per account each month. Up to 5 accounts.
Grow a savings account by ₱50,000 (from deposits, not edits) → +25 XP. Checked at month-end, at most once every 6 months per account. Emergency fund and Savings to keep goal accounts have their own rewards. Money in a future expense goal (like a Birthday Fund) is taken out first, since it will be spent.
Keep ₱500,000+ in your Savings to keep goals → +50 XP at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year in a row, then +50 XP every year.
Grocery trip (10+ items) → +3 XP. Up to 3 a month.
Big grocery trip (80+ items) → +50 XP, once a month. Max from groceries: 59 XP a month.
Update your Net Worth (a change of ₱5,000 or more) → +50 XP, once every 3 months.

Invest ₱500 or more every month: your Investments category (MP2, Mutual Fund, Stocks, and more) or your Equity Contributions Tracker.
6 months in a row → +50 XP. 12 months in a row → +100 XP. Then it repeats every year.
Miss a month, and the streak starts over. Investing is a long game; we reward never skipping.
Checked after each month ends.

Debt payments earn XP as Bills. Add your debt to your Bill List with its due date, and pay it there. A debt that isn't in your Bill List earns nothing when you pay it.
Pay it on time → +5 XP. Pay it late → +2 XP.
Loan bonus: set up a Debt Payment Tracker under Credit Cards, Debts, Car Loan, or House, then tap Connect to Bill List to link it to its bill. No bill yet? Tap Add the bill for me. Basic connects up to 2 trackers, Plus up to 8, Pro no limit.
Each on-time payment of a connected bill earns the bill XP plus +5, +10, or +15, depending on the loan's length.
All debts paid bonus → +5 XP for each group where every bill was paid this month: Credit Cards, Car / motorcycle loan, Debts, and Housing (amortization or rent). Up to +20 XP a month. Late still counts. Miss one bill in a group, and that group earns nothing. No debts, no bonus. Unpaying or deleting a bill later takes the bonus back.

Complete your Net Worth for the first time (savings, assets, and debts) → +50 XP
Open a new savings account (₱5,000 or more to start) → +20 XP. Up to 5 accounts.
Emergency fund covers 3 months of expenses → +50 XP. 6 months → +75 XP. 12 months → +100 XP.
Keep your emergency fund at 3+ months → +10 XP at the end of every quarter (March, June, September, December). Keep it at 6+ months for a full year → +100 XP, every year.
Savings Goals reach ₱50,000 → +25 XP. ₱100,000 → +30 XP. Every extra ₱100,000 (₱200k, ₱300k…) → +30 XP. Only money added through your Savings to keep goals counts (not future expense goals like a Birthday Fund), and each step is earned once.
Track a debt in a Debt Payment Tracker → +10 XP
Pay off a debt you tracked in Budgett for 6 to 11 months → +20 XP. 12 months to under 3 years → +50 XP. 3 years or more → +100 XP with no missed months, or +75 XP with some missed. Under 6 months → no payoff XP.
Unlock a category → +5 XP. Add 3 or more subcategories to one → +5 XP.
Read a Budgett article → +5 XP, once per article.

Apprentice +50 XP · Planner +50 XP · Builder +100 XP · Protector +100 XP · Strategist +100 XP
Grower +300 XP · Fortress +400 XP · Sovereign +500 XP
Each bonus is earned once, the moment you reach that rank.

Fixing a balance by hand (a correction) beyond your free ones → −10 XP each. Your first 30 days are unlimited, then 5 free a month until day 90, then 2 free a month.
Deleting an entry takes back the XP it earned.

Every limit is there to keep the race fair for everyone. Your entries always save, even when they don't earn XP. Steady beats fast.
