Managing Your Account
Your money data deserves strong locks. Here's how to keep your account safe and in your control. Everything below is in Profile → Settings.
Your Devices
- Link Devices shows every phone and computer logged in to your account.
- See one you don't know, or a lost phone? Sign it out from there. It logs itself out the next time it checks in.
- Logging as gives this device a name tag, so you can tell your devices apart.
Locking Budgett
- Biometrics: lock Budgett with your fingerprint or face. Set it up in your phone's Settings first.
- App Passcode: a 6-digit backup in case fingerprint or face unlock fails. You need it to turn Biometrics on.
- Auto Sign-Out: signs you out after you've been away for a while. Needs Biometrics on.
- Protect Net Worth: asks for your fingerprint or face to open Net Worth, and locks it again if it's left open too long.
Email, Password, and Security Questions
- Email: change it with a link sent to your new inbox.
- Password: change it right away after confirming your current one. Log in with Google? You can add a password too, so you can also log in with your email.
- Security Questions: pick 2 questions. They help Budgett Support help you if you're ever locked out.
Profile → Delete Account deletes your account and everything in it: budgets, transactions, bills, savings, XP, and rank. It can't be undone. Budgett asks you twice before it happens.
Open Profile → Settings → Link Devices. Do you know every device on the list? If not, sign it out now.
