How Grocery SuperList works
Grocery is easy to budget for but hard to track. Days later, you don't remember what you bought or what it cost. SuperList fixes that.
Getting Started
Go to the Launch SuperList section on the Grocery category page and tap SuperList. The first time you ever shop with it, you go straight into making your list. Once you've completed at least one trip, tapping SuperList takes you to SuperList Options instead, where you can reuse a past list, consolidate several past trips into one, or start fresh with "List As I Shop."
The Three Stages of Every Trip
- SuperList Options: pick what to shop with.
- Shopping Review: check the list and set a budget before you go.
- SuperList Shopping Mode: check items off, see your total, and add prices as you go.
Reuse Instead of Retype
Reusing a past list saves time. Instead of retyping "Rice, Eggs, Milk" every trip, SuperList remembers what you bought last time and brings it forward. Consolidate goes further: it combines every unique item across your past trips into one master list, so nothing gets missed or duplicated.
Finishing a Trip
Once you're done shopping, tag the store and how you paid (Cash on Hand, a bank account, or a credit card) so your Transaction History and account balances stay accurate. A finished trip moves into your Grocery List Vault, numbered in order (1st, 2nd, 3rd...), so your history stays organized on its own.
Grocery is one of the categories most people underestimate. Snacks, drinks, and "extras" usually outweigh what people assume is the biggest line.
